A sound of shatter, pieces scatter
unwanted mess on a carpet of glass
sharp and sudden, the noise gives a startle
to my wondering eyes, “oh gawd, its shattered glass!” RUN!
There is nothing more annoying than the breaking of glass, sure it sounds wonderful to the ear. Ha! boink. It is quite messy to clean up and if you miss a piece it is a big deal, you could be walking around with a big piece of sharp ouch the whole day and painting the carpet red, on your way out. “Who wants that” Especially when your sister faints at the sight of blood and it looks like evidence a vampire was present and guests will slowly be lining up thinking Edwards there.
Actually… Nawww
I don’t like cleaning up glass, it’s aggregating because I have to become some detector with my eyes to find every piece. Although cleaning up glass is more enjoyable than cleaning up broken eggs on a laminate floor.

When glass gets broken and you have gotten the big pieces, take a piece of duct tape and wrap it inside out so the stick side is out, aroudn your hand. Dap the tape over the broken glass area and it wil pick up those slivers that we always miss.
